To assemble your curtains, simply tie a large knot at the end of a fishing string and secure a wooden bead to the end. Then simply tie a coffee stirrer into the twine before adding another wooden bead. Coffee stirrers can also be cut into sections or used as-is to give a bamboo like appearance. You can also paint them in any number of different colors including metallic.
You may want to test out other materials such as drinking straws or anything that is tubular in terms of its shape. Remember that you will need to add a wooden bead to stop the coffee stirrers from falling through, and you may even decide to color the beads themselves to match your stirrers. The main point is to have fun and to let your imagination run wild.
