Asian Bedding: Comfortably Exotic

In general, Asia is composed of tropical countries. When speaking of such places, one immediately thinks of the warm weather. To this, a variety of warm colors also come to mind. Some prominent examples of warm hues are fiery red, yellow, orange, gold, brown, cream, peach, and beige. In this regard, having an Asian-inspired theme for a bedroom will somewhat ‘transport’ the room’s occupants to a place in Asia. Bedrooms of this theme typically have exotic furniture such as wooden or bamboo beds, headboards, closets, dressers, side tables, and the like.

Meanwhile, these particular rooms generally have oriental-designed curtains or blinds, carpets or rugs, and even walls. They also have Asian bedding which is usually composed of bedspreads, pillow cases, sheets, and blankets. By and large, the mentioned bedding pieces are both simply decorative and highly functional. They are mostly featured with warm-colored bright designs that immediately tell anybody they are Asian-inspired. The classic patterns most likely have caricatures that represent Asia or its overall culture. Largely, there are brilliant prints of dragons, cherry blossoms, mystic cranes, the Asian temple, spring flowers, bamboo stalks, and even some anime characters.

Simple dual-colored modern ones are also popular not only among the minimalists, but to the general population. For the most part, any specific design will truly create a major impact on any bedroom, whether or not it is wholly Asian-themed. Furthermore, the typical materials are cotton, polyester, and satin, among others. Cotton in general is naturally soft and is moisture-absorbent. Polyester is wrinkle-resistant. Finally, satin which is made from silk has a smooth, glossy texture. However, no matter what material choice there is, the corresponding bedding items still possess the common distinct Asian elegance in an extremely comfortable softness.

Resting and sleeping on a bed which has any piece, or the entire set, of such bedding somehow provides a certain positive vibration which eventually promotes good sleep throughout the night. Truly, an absolutely luxurious atmosphere is attainable with this type of bedding. Even though a specific bedroom does not have anything related to Asia, having and using the mentioned bedding pieces will still be ideal. A piece or two, or preferably the entire set, will surely spice up the surroundings. Thus, for a totally relaxing ambience, it is definitely wise to opt for exotic bedding pieces that are motivated by the predominant wonders of Asia.
